Why We Love Detective Comics
INVADING THE WHITE HOUSE!
Remember this? From Detective Comics #756, cover-dated May 2001? Where Superman, Batman, Lois Lane and Sasha Bordeaux invaded the White House for some reason?
Well, Lex Luthor was the president, so that by itself was a pretty good reason to invade the White House, but I'm sure there was a bit more to it than that.
I really enjoyed Detective Comics in this period. I was a big fan of Sasha Bordeaux, and I always hated how that whole storyline turned out.
But it was fun while it lasted.
Anyway, not every super-hero gest to invade the White House. But Batman did!
And that's why we love Detective Comics!
