DEEP THROAT: GEORGE H.W. BUSH?
Read it here, in Editor and Publisher.
One thing they don't mention, because it's not well-known, is that George H.W. Bush was mentioned as a possible vice presidential candidate to run with Nixon in 1968.
I saw this in a Los Angeles Times editorial from May or June 1968, when I was researching the assassination of Bobby Kennedy. I think it was in Billy Graham's column.
I never considered Bush as a possible candidate. But I wouldn't discount it either. Not at all!
I'm still favoring Gen. Al Haig. It just sounds like something that old vampire would do.
