PETA COMPARED TO AL QAEDA!
Who said that? Was it Ann Coulter or Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity or one of those lying mouthpieces of the lying right wing?
No! It was officials from the FBI and the ATF at a Senate hearing. See the Dily Kos article, titled Breaking News--Liberal Groups OFFICIALLY labeled Terrorists.
What's almost as disgusting as this shrill assessment is the way these officials are bending over backwards to minimize ... the KKK, and murders and violence committed by opponents of abortion:
In the same period violence from groups like the Ku Klux Klan and anti-abortion extremists have declined, Lewis said.
Note that they haven't mentioned growing incidents of violence against Muslims.
How soon we forget. One of the reasons that McVeigh was able to pull off the Oklahoma City bombing was the fact that federal law enforcement targets liberal groups with no history of violence when it should be spending a little more time on groups like the Michigan Militia.
